The Florida Project tells the story of Moonee (Brooklyn Prince), a precocious six-year-old and her ragtag group of friends.

The children’s summer break is filled with wonder, mischief and adventure while the adults around them struggle with hard times. Our story takes place just outside of Orlando, the vacation capital of the world and home to “The Most Magical Place on Earth”.

Along the main highway that runs through the land of theme parks and resorts, budget motels that once attracted tourists by exploiting the Disney mystique, now house homeless families. Moonee and her twenty-two year old mother, Halley (Bria Vinaite), live at one such establishment — The Magic Castle Motel. The closest thing Moonee has to a father is Bobby (Oscar nominee William Dafoe), the motel’s manager, a guarded and diligent man who is taunted by the children’s antics. Halley has lost her job and an new girl the same age as Moonee has moved in at the motel next door – it’s going to be an eventful summer.

Nineteen years ago, the Aquatic Project used genetically altered sharks in hopes of developing a cutting-edge cure for Alzheimer’s disease. They came close to achieving their goal, but an unforeseen tragedy derailed the experiment. Now, pharmaceutical billionaire Carl Durant is determined to revive the research of the undersea laboratory. With former Navy SEAL Trent Slater and scientist Daniel and Leslie Kim already on board, Durant hopes to enlist shark conversationist Misty Calhoun onto the team. But Calhoun is shocked to the learn that the company is using unpredictable and highly aggressive bull sharks, the most lethal predators in the sea, as its test subjects. Before long, the drug-enhanced sharks, led by den mother Bella, are growing smarter, quicker and much, much deadlier. Loving Vincent reveals the life and controversial death of Vincent van Gogh as told by his paintings and by the characters that inhabit them. The intrigue unfolds through interviews with the characters closest to Vincent and through dramatic reconstructions of the events leading up to his death. The film features 120 of Vincent van Gogh’s greatest paintings. The plot drawn from the 800 letters written by the painter himself, leads us to the significant people and events in the time prior to his unexpected death. Every shot is painted just as Vincent himself painted.
