Synopsis 剧情简介

叶亭在法国过了几年流浪生活后，重回香港，立志成为一位出色的记者，但因性格耿直和粗心大意，往往将事情弄巧反拙，也因此与其上司康子桥在工作上常起冲突，但实际上康子桥极欣赏叶亭的个性，对她渐生爱意。
　　一次采访途中，叶亭遇上曾阿财在街上称皇称帝，大发议论，叶亭好奇心起，遂与他攀谈，发掘写作题材，其后得知他的可怜遭遇，更希望借助新闻界的力量帮助曾阿财。
　　随后叶亭又偶见一少女被货车撞倒，但旋即失去伤者踪影，追查之下，得知该少女原名锺美娟，自幼随母以唱粤剧为生。美娟对唱戏本甚有天份，惜误交损友，不能自拔。其母一气病倒，恳求叶亭代为管教女儿，亭同情心起，决资助美娟学粤剧，使她重获新生。

After living a wandering life in France for several years, Yip Ting returned to Hong Kong and aspired to become an outstanding journalist. However, due to his straightforward and careless character, he often made things worse, and therefore often clashed with his boss Kang Ziqiao at work. However, in fact, Kang Ziqiao admired Yip Ting’s personality and gradually fell in love with her.
During an interview, Yip Ting met Zeng Acai who was acting like an emperor on the street and making a lot of comments. Yip Ting was curious and talked to him to find writing topics. Later, he learned about his pitiful experience and hoped to help Zeng Acai with the help of the news industry.
Then Yip Ting saw a girl being hit by a truck, but the injured person disappeared immediately. After investigation, it was learned that the girl’s original name was Zhong Meijuan, and she had been singing Cantonese opera for a living with her mother since she was a child. Meijuan was very talented in singing opera scripts, but unfortunately she made bad friends and could not extricate herself. Her mother fell ill in anger and begged Yip Ting to discipline her daughter. Ting felt sympathetic and decided to help Meijuan learn Cantonese opera, so that she could be reborn.
