The Florida Project tells the story of Moonee (Brooklyn Prince), a precocious six-year-old and her ragtag group of friends.

The children’s summer break is filled with wonder, mischief and adventure while the adults around them struggle with hard times. Our story takes place just outside of Orlando, the vacation capital of the world and home to “The Most Magical Place on Earth”.

Along the main highway that runs through the land of theme parks and resorts, budget motels that once attracted tourists by exploiting the Disney mystique, now house homeless families. Moonee and her twenty-two year old mother, Halley (Bria Vinaite), live at one such establishment — The Magic Castle Motel. The closest thing Moonee has to a father is Bobby (Oscar nominee William Dafoe), the motel’s manager, a guarded and diligent man who is taunted by the children’s antics. Halley has lost her job and an new girl the same age as Moonee has moved in at the motel next door – it’s going to be an eventful summer.

Based on the unbelievable, but true events, I, TONYA is a darkly comedic tale of American figure skater, Tonya Harding, and one of the most sensational scandals in sports history. Though Harding was the first American woman to complete a triple axel in competition, her legacy was forever defined by her association with an infamous, ill-conceived, and even more poorly executed attack on fellow Olympic competitor Nancy Kerrigan. Featuring an iconic turn by Margot Robbie as the fiery Harding, a mustachioed Sebastian Stan as her impetuous ex-husband Jeff Gillooly, a tour-de-force performance from Allison Janney as her acid-tongued mother, LaVona Golden, and an original screenplay by Steven Rogers, Craig Gillespie’s I, TONYA is an absurd, irreverent, and piercing portrayal of Harding’s life and career in all of its unchecked – and checkered – glory.

This beautifully filmed, poignant story directed by Simon Curtis from a screenplay by Frank Cottrell-Boyce and Simon Vaughan gives a rare glimpse into the relationship between beloved children’s author A. A. Milne (Domhnall Gleeson) and his son Christopher Robin (Will Tilston). At the end of the First World War, Milne is inspired by his son’s toys to create the magical world of Winne-the-Pooh — which brings him immediate and enduring celebrity. But the books’ international success comes at a cost to the author, his young son and his wife Daphne (Margot Robbie), in this compelling film about fame and family that also stars Kelly Macdonald.

Moonlight is a 2016 American coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Barry Jenkins, based on Tarell Alvin McCraney’s unpublished semi-autobiographical play In Moonlight Black Boys Look Blue. It stars Trevante Rhodes, André Holland, Janelle Monáe, Ashton Sanders, Jharrel Jerome, Naomie Harris, and Mahershala Ali.

The film presents three stages in the life of the main character; his youth, adolescence and early adult life. It explores the difficulties he faces with his sexuality and identity, including the physical and emotional abuse he endures growing up.
