小時候因貌醜招人笑柄的花蘋(黃翠如)，因一次意外需接受整容，自此她堅信美貌改變人生，長大後投身警隊但依舊受美如命，一宗賣淫案牽涉到財務公司潛伏邨，花蘋被派與同CID的羅大樹(蕭正楠)假裝夫妻，向一班屋邨師奶埋身套取線索，因而認識「師奶三人組」熊丹丹(黃智雯)、蘇鳳妮(梁嘉琪)和劉憐香(簡慕華)，花蘋為查案被逼放棄一身盛妝華服，勉強投其所好，不知不覺沾染師奶行徑，而羅大樹以水電技工作掩飾，在屋邨得來「渠王」的稱號，引來不少狂風浪蝶，竟令本來鍾情「警草」邢藍(黃子恆)的花蘋起了醋意，他們鬥氣之餘漸生感情，但同時發現師奶三人組形跡可疑，被警方鎖定為可疑人物，一名神秘女子突然出現更令案情大起變化，各大關係更趨複雜……

FA PING (Priscilla Wong), who was often made fun of by the others for being ugly during her childhood, underwent cosmetic surgery in the wake of an accident. Ever since then, she has been firmly convinced that an attractive appearance has a significant impact on one’s life, and remains the same after joining the police. Due to a prostitution case involving a finance company suspected of issuing illegal loans in a public housing estate, FA PING and her co-worker of the CID, LAW TAI-SHU (Edwin Siu) are put undercover as a married couple to approach a group of housewives, probing into the matter. Thus, they get to know “The housewives trio”, HUNG DAN-DAN (Mandy Wong), SO FUNG-NEI (Leung Kai Ki) and aLAU LIN-HEUNG (Rachel Kan). For the investigation, FA PING has to give up wearing make-up and fine clothes and cater to their tastes, without realizing that she herself starts behaving like them. Having disguised himself as a technician, LAW TAI-SHU is dubbed “The Plumber” of the estate, attracting tons of fans. Unexpectedly, this makes FA Ping, who used to have a crush on a handsome policeman named YING NAM (Hugo Wong), very jealous, and the quarrelsome pair gradually develop romantic feelings towards each other. Meanwhile, they discover some suspicious activities of “The housewives trio”, causing the police take a closer look at them. Out of the blue, the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman makes the case more dramatic and unpredictable, and their relationship more complicated…
