Kouji Fujishiro (Yamada Takayuki) was a young boy from Syounan, having a life without any aim after sacked by a bento company. Only hanging around with his buddies Oonishi Yuuta (Tanaka Kei), Tatsunami Ryuusuke (Kawamura Yousuke) and Katou Haruo (Hamada Gaku), will make Kouji felt like having a normal life as a 19 years old teenager, and forgot what he’d ran into in the past.

Kaoru Amane (Sawajiri Erika) was suffering from an incurable disease called XP (Xeroderma Pigmentosum), and unable to be exposed to the sun. As a street musician who dream to publish album, she wished that she could present on a stage like her idol, Tachibana Asami (Matsushita Nao), one day. She tried to contribute her works to all kind of competition, but none of her works was appreciated. Until someone asked her “Have you ever love someone seriously?”, she started to give her best to compose a song which will touch people’s hearts…..

藤代孝治（山田孝之饰）是个在湘南某处生活的少年，打工的工厂倒闭后，孝治丢了工作，生活变得漫无目的。他唯一的寄托就只有雄太、隆介跟晴南这三个好哥儿们，只有跟他们在一起，他才能像个普通的19岁年轻人，忘却自己的际遇。

雨音薰（泽尻英龙华饰）从小被診斷出罹患罕見疾病——色素性干皮症（XP），無法接觸陽光。但是绝症并没有击垮薰对生活的热爱，虽然白天不能外出，薰仍坚持每天晚上背着自己心爱的吉他，到车站附近的街头表演。歌唱对于薰来说，就像空气一样。薰立志成为一名优秀的创作型歌手，就像自己的偶像——新近走红的歌手橘麻美（松下奈绪饰）一样站上舞台，也投稿参加了很多创作比赛，但都不幸落选。在受到了「你有认真喜欢过谁的经验吗？」批评之后，薰就一直为了如何才能写出动人歌曲而烦恼着…..
